How do you draw rough architectural designs?
I am tring to draw initial designs and rough sketches of a sports centre i am designing. I am fine with simple shapes and clean drawings, but never looks right when doing them rough. You can tell when it looks quick and messy but good, and quick and messy but bad! if that makes sense. Is there a trick. Like quick lines, colours etc. Material use?

When doing something in the rough, less is more
when trying to put over or sell an idea. If a picture is to messy or has to much in it ,it takes away from the original idea you want the customer to visualize as a finished product.
Less, without a mess is more.
